While walking in a toy store
The day before today,
I over heard a Crayon Box
With many things to say.
I don't like red! said Yellow.
And Green said, Nor do I!
And no one here likes Orange,
But no one knows quite why.
We are a box of crayons
that really doesn't get along,
Said Blue to all the others.
Something here is wrong!
Well, I bought that box of crayons
And took it home with me
And laid out all the crayons
So the crayons could all see
They watched me as I colored
With Red and Blue and Green
And Black and White and Orange
And every color in between
They watched as Green became the grass
And Blue became the sky.
The Yellow sun was shining bright
On White clouds drifting by.
Colors changing as they touched,
Becoming something new.
They watched me as I colored.
They watched till I was through.
And when I'd finally finished,
I began to walk away.
And as I did the Crayon box
Had something more to say...
I do like Red! said the Yellow
And Green said, So do I!
And Blue you are terrific!
So high up in the sky.
We are a Box of Crayons
Each of us Unique,
But when we get Together
The Picture is Complete
Companionship provides us
With encouragement and love;
It will help us in our journey
Untill we reach our home above.

My One True Light
You are the one true light in my life,
Though I never tell you enough.
You are always there for me,
Even when times get tough.
You are my sun, my moon,
and my morning star,
Shining down on me,
To bring comfort from afar
You are the love of my life,
My heart and my soul.
My beloved husband,
To have and to hold.
I could search the world over
With all of my might,
But find none that compare,
To you, my one true light
Though I never tell you enough.
You are always there for me,
Even when times get tough.
You are my sun, my moon,
and my morning star,
Shining down on me,
To bring comfort from afar
You are the love of my life,
My heart and my soul.
My beloved husband,
To have and to hold.
I could search the world over
With all of my might,
But find none that compare,
To you, my one true light
Our Little Nest
In all of my lifetime,
I never thought I would rest,
In a small piece of heaven,
Called 'Our Little Nest'
A haven of peace,
Free from life's wear and tear,
And a beautiful lovebird,
Who waits for me there.
A shelter to protect me,
From the storms of this life,
A warm peaceful harbor,
And a sweet loving wife.
That welcoming door,
That leads me to bliss,
I never knew life,
Could be as perfect as this.
I never thought I would rest,
In a small piece of heaven,
Called 'Our Little Nest'
A haven of peace,
Free from life's wear and tear,
And a beautiful lovebird,
Who waits for me there.
A shelter to protect me,
From the storms of this life,
A warm peaceful harbor,
And a sweet loving wife.
That welcoming door,
That leads me to bliss,
I never knew life,
Could be as perfect as this.

Your Love
Your love is a lantern
That lights my way,
Uplifting my spirits,
When skies are gray
Your love is a wave
That lifts me higher,
Into a sea
Of tender desire.
Your love is a flame,
That can never die,
For always and ever,
It will be just you and I.
Your love is a rose,
Moistened with dew,
Touching my soul,
With the beauty of you.
That lights my way,
Uplifting my spirits,
When skies are gray
Your love is a wave
That lifts me higher,
Into a sea
Of tender desire.
Your love is a flame,
That can never die,
For always and ever,
It will be just you and I.
Your love is a rose,
Moistened with dew,
Touching my soul,
With the beauty of you.
